Kirstein GmbH sees itself as a technological enterprise for development (hard- and/or software) and production of electronic control units for gears, hydraulic driving units and fuel cells. We concentrate on delivering customer-specific systems which we develop according to our customers´ requirements. Due to our activities in the motive power engineering sector for many years now, we have a highly qualified staff with a wide project experience. The flexible structure of our company enables us to carry out new or adaptive development projects within the shortest periods of time. Moreover, our company acts independently (i.e. there is no capital interconnection with other companies), and full know-how protection can be guaranteed for our customers´ developments and projects.
All our micro-processored controllers have highly developed diagnostic functions, end-of-line programming and routine functions for intern error detection. Controllers made by KTS are extremely compact and have been tried and tested under severest environmental conditions. Control systems with electronic motor contact (e.g. EDC) or controllers connected with data bus systems (eg. CAN) have proved to be in successful operation for many years.
KTS-controllers are used in automatic transmissions, planetary gears, infinitely variable change-speed gears and hydraulic driving units. A further field of application for our controllers is in mobile or stationary use in the fuel cell sector.
