Kirstein GmbH Technical Systems was founded in 1992 by Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Kirstein. Today we employ 40 regular members of staff, most of them occupied with development and production tasks. In 1998 our company´s headquarters moved from Neusäß to Augsburg – investing Euro 3 million for a new building and extensive technical equipment. Only 2 years later (in 2000), an additional building was set up on our property to be able to keep up with increasing demands from our current and new customers. On our premises, development and research as well as production of prototypes and pilot productions are being powered – serial productions of higher quantities are made by suitable home-based producers.
Our company is working by ISO 9001:2000; in addition, our production of high-quality control systems is subject to a strict quality control by the „Güteprüfstelle der Bundeswehr“ (a quality control department of the German army), as well as by the well-known Classification Societies of the shipping sector (American Bureau of Shipping, Germanischer Lloyd, Det Norske Veritas etc.).
Kirstein GmbH offers not only development and production of customer-specialized electronic components, but also development of software and complete analog and digital control units as well as production of cablings, electromechanical control-/operational units for the motive power engineering sector and data recorders. The field of operation of our products ranges from various stationary applications to commercial/passenger vehicles, building machines as well as deep-sea vessels. |
